Creative problem solving as a skill

VLAG (Nutrition, Food Technology, Agrobiotechnology and Health) is a KNAW-approved graduate school which operates under Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR). White Tree was invited to facilitate a workshop about ‘New Ways of Thinking’ for WUR’s PhD candidates and research fellows, who are expected to move into jobs in the business world and government. The workshop was part of a course called ‘Successful performance in organisations’, which was offered to these students to increase their employability. The workshop was built around the use of our creative capacities and the differences in thinking and learning styles, which proved to be a journey of discovery for some.

Participants’ feedback: Great structure! At first I was a bit lost, searching … and started to panic, then slowly but surely I started coming up with lots of ideas … my mind has been expanded.
